Luckless is the Berlin based, New Zealand originated project of Ivy Rossiter. Based on solo vocals with a 1960s' Silvertone electric guitar and hypnotic and dynamic live looping, the sound is poised somewhere between the ethereal haze of indie-folk and the propulsive drive of alt-rock; it draws inspiration from 90s heroes PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan, and Sparklehorse.

Remi Harris is an exciting young guitarist from the UK who's unique style blends elements from Gypsy Swing, Jazz, Blues, Rock'n'Roll, Hip Hop and World Music. Primarily self taught with the help of his Dad's guitar magazines and records, Remi started playing at the age of 7, initially inspired by rock and blues guitarists of the 60s and 70s such as Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green and Jimmy Page. In his late teens he developed an interest in jazz music, in particular artists such as Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery and Stan Getz. Since then he has been growing a reputation for blending all of his influences into his own individual style of playing. He has toured worldwide as well as performing at Buckingham Palace, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, on BBC 4 Television and live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 3.

The Stoned Cherries in their current form came together in summer 2014, based in Bromyard around the core members Roger Pugh and Dave Evans. With the addition of Matt and Aly, a band appeared that enjoys playing original and traditional songs and tunes that make people dance, smile and think.
Roger and Dave write the original material, and Aly leads on the traditional tunes, while Matt keeps the whole thing together.
The band plays with verve and passion, and a sprinkling of humour keeps audiences entertained. Gigs have included Worcester Music Festival, Earth Fest at The Fold, Bransford, the opening night of Bromyard Folk Festival, A Major Folk Festival at The Majors Arms in Halmonds Frome, The Lowfield Inn at Marton, The Criterion in Leicester, The Sun Inn Leintwardine, Folk Down the Track , Knucklas, Knighton Community Hall and the Sylvester Horne Institute, Church Stretton.

Adventurous creative players are drawn to each other, and the first time Tim and Brendan met, the musical sparks flew! Others feel it too: after only a year together, they won the award for 'Best Duo' in the 2012 BBC2 Folk Awards.
The duo's powerful blend of passion and virtuosity is infectious. What sets them apart from most folk/Celtic acts is their free-wheeling approach to live performance. Tim and Brendan love to improvise, which means that every time they do a piece it sounds different and fresh. It's that sheer mad spontaneity which unfailingly captures audiences everywhere.
Tim and Brendan are two of the biggest names in the worldwide, acoustic and Celtic scene. Between them they have worked with everyone from Sting to Christy Moore, Altan, The Chieftains, Kate Bush, Dougie MacLean, Mary Black, and loads more.
Be prepared for a night of unforgettable music, song, and entertainment ranging from Celtic to blues, Balkan to jazz, and great join in choruses.

Here's what the BBC says about this event:
"BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
"Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.
"Once a month, we've been recording acts chosen by us at a variety of venues across the area - including at some of our biggest festivals. Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 30 March at the West Malvern Social Club and features four acts we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
"It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.
"None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester/introducing.
"Doors open at 2pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 6pm."
Come and support your local bands; have a day out at the WMSC; see how radio programmes are actually made.
The bar will be open as usual; check out the Social Club.

Remi Harris is one of the most exciting young guitarists to hit the UK jazz scene in recent years. The trio plays a mixture of 'gypsy jazz' (in the style of Django Reinhardt) and mainstream guitar-based jazz.
For more on Remi see his web site.
The music starts at 9:15; be there early to be sure of a table.
